ROCHESTER, Minn., & DENVER, Colo. — July 31, 2026 — Tickets are now on sale for Heaven in Stone and Glass, Bishop Robert Barron’s new feature-length documentary that brings audiences inside five of France’s most magnificent Gothic cathedrals during a special two-night theatrical release on Sept. 20 and 23, 2026.
Produced by Word on Fire in collaboration with Spirit Juice Studios, the immersive cinematic experience combines breathtaking photography with Bishop Barron’s signature theological storytelling. Heaven in Stone and Glass is being distributed by Fathom Entertainment, the leading specialty distributor of content to theatrical partners worldwide.
Filmed on location throughout France, Heaven in Stone and Glass explores Notre-Dame, Chartres, Reims, Amiens, and Saint-Denis, revealing the extraordinary artistry and theological meaning woven into each cathedral. Beginning with the aftermath of the 2019 Notre-Dame fire, Bishop Barron guides audiences through centuries of history, Scripture, philosophy, and architecture, demonstrating how these enduring masterpieces continue to proclaim the Christian vision through beauty.
