In 1858, on the outskirts of Lourdes, France, a shepherd girl named Bernadette Soubirous began encountering a beautiful young woman clothed in white. She eventually asked the mysterious visitor for her name, petitioning her three times. The lady’s reply: “I am the Immaculate Conception.”
