Father Stephen Gadberry
Father Stephen Gadberry will lead us in prayer for Word on Fire’s 25th anniversary novena to St. Thérèse. Watch Father Gadberry’s congratulatory message to Bishop Barron for 25 years of Word on Fire.
Father Stephen Gadberry was born and raised in the Arkansas Delta, is a US Air Force veteran, and is a priest for the Diocese of Little Rock. He was ordained in 2016 and is currently pastor of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is an avid outdoorsman, music aficionado, and enjoys making knives in his free time. Father Gadberry is also known for his online presence, as well as participating in two seasons of American Ninja Warrior.
Father Gadberry’s collaboration with Word on Fire goes back several years. He has been active in the movement since 2017. He is a fellow of the Word on Fire Institute and offers various classes, seminars, and articles. He assisted in the making of the Catholicism 101 series and regularly writes for the Evangelization & Culture journal. The documentary The Making of a Catholic Priest, released in 2022, tells his story.
