Details

NOTE: Bishop Barron's talk begins at 1:47:08 in the video above.

Bishop Barron's capstone talk at the 2017 USCCB Convocation of Catholic leaders in Orlando, FL. The Convocation theme was “The Joy Of The Gospel In America” and gathered over 3,500 bishops, priests, deacons, religious, and lay leaders. Bishop Barron first shared three obstacles to evangelization, including scientism, the “M’eh” culture, and the culture of self-invention. Then he highlighted three opportunities to evangelize well, using the true, the good, and the beautiful.
