On October 9, the Church celebrates the feast day of St. John Henry Newman. Newman was an English theologian, academic, philosopher, historian, writer, and poet, first as an Anglican priest and later as a Catholic priest and cardinal.
As one of Bishop Barron’s Pivotal Players, St. John Henry Newman is an important saint to Word on Fire. In commemoration, we are making his Pivotal Players episode available to view for free.
