Vanessa Lopez lives in Southern California with her amazing husband and five sons, whom she homeschools. She earned a bachelor’s degree and a master's degree in English literature from Stanford University as well as a master's degree in Biblical Studies and Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California (where she started as a Protestant and finished as a Catholic). Vanessa is a trained catechist in all three levels of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, coordinates a local Catholic women’s book club, and has published several theological essays. She serves as the Community Leader for the Word on Fire Institute’s Course Community.
