Fr. Graham Smith was brought up in Southend on Sea in the UK. He was received into the Church in 1991 and began to realize his vocation during a Lourdes pilgrimage he was encouraged to make by the late Bishop Casey. Graham entered St. John’s Seminary at Wonersh in 1993 to study for the priesthood and was ordained at St. Anthony of Padua church in Forest Gate in East London. Fr. Graham has been the coordinator for marriage and family life and the vocations director for the Diocese of Brentwood. He is now a parish priest of Sacred Heart Church in Southend and St. John Fisher in Prittlewell in Essex.
