Alejandro Terán-Somohano holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico Autónomo de México, a Master's, and a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Auburn University, where he worked on using nature-inspired algorithms to solve design problems. He resides in Georgia with his wife and three children.
