Anne Hendershott is a professor of sociology and the founding director of the Veritas Center for Ethics in Public Life at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. She is the author of several books, including her most recent, Lamp in the Darkness: How Faithful Catholic Colleges and Universities are Revitalizing Catholic Higher Education (2024) and The Politics of Envy (2021).
