Looking Ahead to 2025
Celebrating 25 Years of Word on Fire
It might be hard to believe, but 2025 will mark the 25th year of Word on Fire’s existence! Bishop Barron’s first homily aired on WGN Radio in Chicago in 2000, and Word on Fire was born. Since then, the ministry has expanded through the support of our donors to include all of the books, films, videos, podcasts, and other content that continue to reach millions of people each month.
We hope you will join us in our yearlong celebration of this anniversary milestone with a variety of exciting announcements about our future and opportunities to get involved in the next phase of the Word on Fire movement.
