Word on Fire Catholic Ministries is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions may be tax-deductible, less the fair market value of any thank-you gifts that you receive.
Unfortunately, we are not able to send thank-you gifts to Donor Advised Fund, IRA, or international donors.
Help us reach the unaffiliated with content that unlocks the truth, beauty and goodness of Catholicism. Give now to further our mission to proclaim Christ in the culture!
Depending on your level of generosity, we will send you a variety of donor gifts including a 10-pack of prayer cards featuring St. John Henry Newman, a copy of Bishop Barron’s Arguing Religion book, and a paperback copy of the Word on Fire Bible Volume I: The Gospels to give away as an act of personal evangelization.

We proclaim Christ in the culture by leading people to—or back to— the Catholic Faith.
Our content reaches millions of people each month—inspiring conversions to the Catholic faith and calling others to a deeper examination of their spiritual life. Leading with the truth, beauty and goodness of the Catholic tradition, Word on Fire uses new and emerging media to connect people to Christ.
“Thank you for all the years of hard work and for all the inspiration! There is a blossoming generation ready to take up the laptop, the microphone, or the writer’s desk, as John Paul II would say, and the inspiration driving this group of young people is very much in part to the good work being done every day at Word on Fire.”

We proclaim Christ in the culture by training evangelists.
The Word on Fire Institute is a community of more than 24,000 people with the mission and desire to be Christ-centered disciples who can be channels of grace and living invitations to come to know Jesus Christ through his Church. Institute members are using their training to evangelize in 90 countries around the world.
“Bishop Barron has helped deepen my relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am a subscriber to his daily Gospel emails. I also watch his Sunday homilies. All this I have been sharing with my daughter who had been away from the Church. She and her family have begun attending Mass again. I thank Bishop Barron and the Word on Fire Ministry for the hard work they do to help people understand our Catholic faith.”

We proclaim Christ in the culture by inspiring encounters with the Gospel.
Word on Fire began when then-Father Robert Barron shared his weekly homilies on a Chicago radio station. Two decades later, Word on Fire has harnessed online media to proclaim the Gospel message to millions. More than 500,000 people receive our daily Gospel reflections via email every day, and Bishop Barron has shared more than 830 Sunday sermons to more than 3.6 million social media followers each week.
“Word on Fire is a staple in my daily attempts to stay close to the Lord. I read and pray over the words and readings from the daily Mass, view a video reflection, then turn to Bishop Barron’s meditation on those readings. I’m quite eclectic in my approach to life itself and having Word on Fire as a valuable source centers me more effectively. I try to support the effort when I can. Keep up the good work.”

We proclaim Christ in the culture by evangelizing through truth, goodness, and beauty.
The intention of the Word on Fire movement is not to avoid the secular culture but to present to it and proclaim Christ within it. Beauty is the arrowhead of evangelization. Therefore, Word on Fire is committed to evangelizing through the beautiful and using new media platforms to show “seeds of the Word” in the culture that point to the source of beauty—Christ and His Church.
“Word on Fire has so enriched my entire life! It has me thinking about, and praying to, God every day. Word on Fire is teaching me to recognize moments where and when an opportunity presents itself to gently evangelize. The intellectual theology offerings are simply astounding! Where else could a simple layman have access to such rich content?”

We proclaim Christ in the culture by calling people to prayer.
Jesus Christ is at the center of our Catholic Faith. Word on Fire’s Christo-centric approach to evangelization puts a strong emphasis on the Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and personal prayer. Through our Liturgy of the Hours project, more than 22,500 people are joining in this communal prayer of the Church every day. Over 300,000 people now own volumes of the Word on Fire Bible to enhance their prayer life and grow in knowledge and understanding of God’s Word.
