Journey with Bishop Robert Barron to more than 50 locations throughout 16 countries. Experience the spiritual and artistic treasures of the universal Catholic Church that includes more than one billion of the earth's people. Not a video lecture, Church history or Scripture study, this engaging and interesting formational program uses the art, architecture, literature, music and all the treasures of the Catholic tradition to illuminate the timeless teachings of the Church.
The CATHOLICISM Pilgrimage Journal uses the award-winning CATHOLICISM series and special study materials customized and appropriate for middle and high school students. The program is designed to be taught and experienced intergenerationally under the leadership of a catechist, teacher, parent, or grandparent. Each of the 20 lessons includes 30 minutes of video viewing of the CATHOLICISM film, either streaming or on DVD, plus 30-45 minutes of guided discussion.
The Catechist Manual includes step-by-step lesson plans, background preparation for the adult leader, and answers to the discussion questions that the students have in their workbooks. The workbook, called the Pilgrimage Journal, includes a short introduction to each lesson, an appropriate Bible verse, terms to know, and the discussion questions.
The CATHOLICISM Pilgrimage Journal allows you to guide young people through the beauty, goodness, and truth of the Faith. It can be used for religious education in class or at home, for youth ministry, homeschooling or a parish intergenerational experience.
