Setting the World Ablaze
A Transformational Year at Word on Fire
Make a gift to help us grow in 2023!
This was a transformational year for Word on Fire, but none of what we accomplished would have been possible without the commitment of our generous donors.
We have even bigger plans for 2023! Make a gift to help us expand our ministry to reach more people with the Good News of the Gospel message.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on your financial support to continue and grow our evangelization efforts. Thank you for any contribution you can make!
There are very few places on the Internet that I trust—but Word on Fire is one of the few that stays reliable, often has outstanding content, and delves into the important issues of the day.
I love the work that Word on Fire is doing and share the information with other folks. I thoroughly enjoy/use the books that I have gotten because they help enrich my grasp on the richness of our faith. As a Spiritual Director I find that I can use so much of the information to strengthen my ministry
My nephews were not raised with any faith. In their 30s, they discovered Word on Fire and Bishop Barron and joined the Catholic Church. I didn’t know this until my 38-year-old nephew died a year ago from cancer. It was such a comfort to me to know he died with a strong faith. Thank you for your work.
Thank you for your beautiful content—it is assisting me in developing a relationship with Jesus. I was trapped in the New Age movement for years, and needed help to move past a lot of confusion.
The work of Bishop Barron and Word on Fire helped bring me back to the church around 7 years ago. The Word on Fire Bible Gospels were my first time really approaching scripture outside of Mass. Reading through them for that first time sparked a love for the Bible in me that has stuck. I have since read through the entirety of the Old Testament and New Testament, and return to it daily. Thanks be to God for the work you do. I’m eternally grateful.
I plan to always support Word on Fire because the whole organization and Bishop Barron himself never back down or water down the Catholic faith. You tell it like it is and thoughtfully include and invite everyone to the truth, regardless of how it may differ with societal norms, especially in current times.
If you haven’t yet seen the quality of the materials Word On Fire is publishing, you really should have a look. The content is informative and inspiring, and the books are works of art.
We love our Word on Fire Bibles, and our young kids love them, too! We’ve created a small family tradition, where each Sunday at lunch we read aloud the reflections and commentary, and then look at the artwork for that Sunday’s readings. It has been wonderful to see how the kids have taken to it, especially noticing the details in the artwork and understanding the symbolism and meaning.
When I came in contact with Word on Fire, I was a Jehovah’s Witness, but I had no joy in practicing that religion. Word on Fire helped me to see the Bible through the Catholic Tradition and what I saw made me fall in love with God. I will always be grateful.
Thank you for continuing this series. I purchased the first Bible of Gospels for my non-practicing Catholic husband who is an artist. He is actually reading it! Thank you Bishop Barron and the entire Word on Fire Team!!
Bishop Barron @WordOnFire offers an easy way to pray the Liturgy of the Hours with his monthly booklets. He says it’s the “highest form of prayer after the Mass, an ancient way of praying Scripture throughout the day, focusing especially on the Psalms”

How beautifully the work of Word On Fire has become a beacon of light on the subject of the synergistic relationships between the discipline of science and the practice of religion. What a splendid and excellent example of what works best when showing real perfect understanding.

The @WordOnFire team is consistently churning out incredible and beautiful books. I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Thank you for the incredible and beautiful Word on Fire Bibles. As a convert to the Catholic faith the commentaries on the various readings has truly touched my heart and I have learned so much. And, the addition of the stunning artwork and history is amazing. I recommend the WOF Bibles to everyone!
The Gospels are coming to life like I have never experienced before. It’s a one of a kind experience to have the foremost experts on Catholicism chiming in at the perfect moments. What a treasure!
I am a fallen away Catholic, this bible is not only beautiful but it is also easy to read and understand, it is a true gift to any one who gets one.
This book is something we would not put only on mere display; instead, it is a book that my family looks forward to explore in our daily adventure with God. In our pilgrimage of faith, my family bears the Word on Fire Bible as our new compass.
I managed to snag a Leather WOF Bible before they sold out. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever read. As someone whose entire family categorizes themselves as unaffiliated, I can’t wait to buy more copies to give to them. This is truly an evangelistic Bible. Nothing else like it. A capstone to my library.
Thank you all so much for this wonderful cathedral in print! I immediately opened up to the temptation of Jesus and found not only the beauty of the holy scripture itself, but the amazing insight by Bishop Barron on all the implications of those temptations. I can tell that this will greatly help me grow in my faith and help me to evangelize and preach the Gospel to others. God bless you all!
I love Word on Fire! @BishopBarron has guided me on my faith journey in countless ways and it was through WoF that I discovered @HaleyCarrots’ awesome work. The Pivotal Players series is great. 🙏
We love Dr. Peter Kreeft’s, “Food for the Soul,” available from Word On Fire. He offers wonderful insights on the weekly scriptural passages for the C cycle.

Few things cause such excitement in the mail. Unless of course it’s the latest volume of the @WordOnFire Bible! Thank you so much @BishopBarron, your inspiration has been such a crucial foundation to mine and many others’ faith journeys.
Man of Catholicism
The @WordOnFire Bible truly is excellent. I’m genuinely picky about my theology, having studied quite a bit, but Bishop Barron’s reflections really do impress me and I learn a lot.
Grant unto Cardinal Francis George Eternal Rest, Oh Lord! May @BishopBarron and the entire @WordOnFire community continue to receive through Cardinal Francis George’s intercession the great grace of Wisdom sent forth in & through The Holy Spirit. Amen Peace b w/u @BishopBarron
Today I received my copy of the Word on Fire Bible: Volume 2, which will be available for purchase next month! The book is a real piece of artwork in itself! I’ll keep updating while I read (enjoy) it.
Word on Fire did a marvelous job with vol. 2 of the Word on Fire Bible. It has been a joy to pray with this beautiful work.

Word On Fire has compiled the four primary documents of the Second Vatican Council. When studied, one sees that the Church seeks to unify the members of its Body and in order to send them out on mission…
