I can see how the biblical proclamation "God is love" might be consistent with the concept that God is a trinity, but you don't you go too far to say that "'God is love' suggests the trinity"? Even if it did, it could just as easily suggest a binity.

By the way, I'm fully on board with your claim that Jesus is God.

Beautifully done Father Barron. If you get the chance I would reccomend Vinn Flynns book 7 Secrets of the Eucharist. It is explained how when we recieve the Eucharist we recieve consubstantially the Father, son and Holy Spirit. I was in awe when I read the Holy Spirit is all the saints and angels and of course Mary. How wonderful is that?
