Just fantastic, the pace of the presentation and the freshness of such a familiar figure. This is equal to the best do*****entaries I have ever seen. But of course it delivers a truth that dwarfs every other subject.

I greatly admire Fr. Barron's gift of teaching using his years of experience,study and ability to fill in the spaces between objective thinking and faith experience, bringing us to greater understanding of what Jesus taught and commanded from His followers. If you have not tasted of his "Untold Blessing -Three Paths to Holiness, it opens minds and hearts in ways that stay with you always. His "What more could Jesus have done for us?" weaves forever through doubts and faith challenges and dissapates them as Peter's "Lord, to Whom would we go?" Blessings Fr. Amazed and Afraid indeed...

Anything I do not understand or afraid of - I do not like. The irony - the mind in wonder and fear opens up to another level of consciousness...like for me seeing Jesus actuality.

Jesus is awe inspiring and frightening. Scripture states that nobody can see the Father except those whom Jesus chooses.
Before God, we are fearfully, wonderfully made.

What I try to focus on is that God is, above all, merciful and forgiving, and that God is One with Christ. Since I know this, then I know that Jesus' ultimate desire is mercy, forgiveness, and salvation bestowed to us through our desire to be close to our heavenly father. God is love.

Here we are striving to be the best we can and live in communion with the body. It's tough. These videos are fuel and an unexpected source of inspiration. Thank you Fr. Barron. Post more post more. I converted myself last Easter. I can't wait to use this series to teach others the faith.

I just noticed this in my PBS monthly magazine as ONLY the simple small listing for it.....not a single promo on it NOTHING. Ken Burns is terrific, but his programs are advertised and promoted so heavily that I some times grow weary of the leads ups to it!(most esp the series on 'Prohibition' But here in Alberta Canada....NOT A SINGLE PROMO for this quality and inspirational program...Catholics and their faith are the socially acceptable prejudices in this day and age!
