Today at the 4 pm Christmas Vigil Mass Saint Theresa's church was filled to the rafters. The 80% that do not attend during the other 50 weeks (excluding Easter)were present and God bless them all for showing up. I thought of you Father and how you say it is a tragedy that only 20% of us Catholics attend Mass.
In light of this sad statistic how important is the Catholicism Project. God Bless you in your dynamic evangelization.

Thank you, Father for this wonderful project. I have an, e*****enical networking ministry of nearly 5000 people. I serve the un/underemployed. As I see more and more people introduced to the Catholic faith, and more people returning to our church through the help of the Holy Spirit, I know how much help you could be by joining us in this effort. Please join me in spreading the word to those seeking jobs. My e-mail is caroline@careerministry.org and my ministry phone is 770 794-6651.
I wish you blessings for the New Year.
Gratefully, Caroline McCoy-Hansen

Our priest, Father Dave, said at the 8am Mass yesterday that we were the smart ones, we had lots of room!
Apparently the church was packed to the rafters for the midnight Mass.
I dunno maybe people want to slip in and out without anyone seeing them, ashamed of their faith?
At least I saw 3 of my 4 children inside the church this year (allbeit only once). I should be grateful for that.

God Bless you in your work Father B.

"A Christmas Blessing" could be more appropriately entitled since 51 seconds of it is a plug for WoF and an appeal for support and only 8-9 seconds are a blessing. Unless the title is meant to ask for financial "blessings". At this time of year, I feel somewhat bludgeoned by requests for support and only wish there was more to share. I still appreciate your remarks and the production values you incorporate into your videos so I understand the need for funding. I guess I just don't appreciate being duped into watching the commercial by the posting's title. Merry Christmas anyway! (Meant Constructively)

Bob in the spirit of Christmas I am going to try to show Christian charity towards you. Evangelization is the mission of the church. You casually refer to Word on Fire as an entity after your money. Yes Christmas is a pivotal day in Salvation history but you have to focus on the more important spiritual dimension, the salvation of souls. What price tag do you put on that? 80% of Catholics don't even go to Mass or only attend Mass on Christmas and Easter. At some point we must realize that our life is not about our house or car or how much money we have in our savings account. In the end all this secular world can promise us is our ultimate demise. There is an incessant inevitability in the passage of time. Faith, hope and love is all that matters but the greatest of these is love.
